While at CCM, Anna performed leading roles in the University’s productions of Coppélia and Paquita. She also danced in many contemporary works choreographed by CCM faculty members Qi-Yi Cheng, Carol Iwasaki, Shellie Cash, Oleg Sabline, and Jiang-Qi. In 2001, Anna was a guest performer in Kentucky Ballet Theatre’s Coppélia. Since joining Kentucky Ballet Theatre in 2001, she has danced Spanish, Dewdrop, Snow Queen pas de deux, and Sugar Plum pas de deux in Nutcracker, Elizabetta and Bride in Dracula, the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Fairy Doll pas de trois, Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, and Spartacus pas de deux. Anna is also a ballet teacher and a choreographer. She is married to KBT company dancer Roberto Sifontes. |
