Brie Lowery

Trainee

Brie Lowry (St. Louis, MO) graduated with her BFA in Ballet and a General Business minor in May 2011 from TCU. Her training began at Dayton Ballet, Ballet Midwest and COCA (Center of the Creative Arts). In the summers, she danced at Burklyn Ballet Theatre in Johnson, VT on a talent scholarship, performing La Bayadère, Paquita, and Graduation Ball.

At TCU’s School for Classical & Contemporary Dance, she has performed works by George Balanchine, Susan Jaffe, Jessica Lang, Terrence Orr, Stephen Mills, Er Dong Hu, and Elizabeth Gillaspy. She most enjoyed performing at the Kennedy Center in Jessica Lang’s Confessions in May 2010 as a soloist.

In 2011, Brie danced and worked at American Ballet Theatre in New York Summer Intensive. This will be Brie’s first season with Kentucky Ballet Theater as a Trainee.
