Laura de Guia VillalobosA native of Dallas, Texas, Joseph began his training under the instruction of Anthony Noa and Tanju Tuzer. From there, Mr. Villalobos has gone on to perform with numerous companies across the United States such as Ballet Theatre of Maryland, Nevada Ballet Theater, Ballet Arkansas, Ballet Oklahoma, and the Dallas Opera.

Joseph has an extensive repertoire, performing principal roles in classical ballets such as Raymonda, Spring Waters, Cinderella, Firebird, Les Sylphides, Flower Festival, and Swan Lake. He has also performed principal roles in Balanchine’s Who Cares? and Tarantella, Arturo Fernadez’s Dracula, and Choo San Goh’s In the Glow of the Night.

Mr. Villalobos and his wife, Laura de Guia Villalobos, were accepted as competitors in the Fourth International Ballet and Modern Competition in Nagoya, Japan. Joseph joined Kentucky Ballet Theatre in 2007.
