Lauren Woleslagel

Apprentice Dancer

Miss Woleslagel is a senior at the University of Cincinnati as a Dean’s List ballet major. She began dancing at the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet and studied at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Chautauqua, American Ballet Theatre (New York), and Joffrey New York.

Miss Woleslagel was a trainee with Pittsburgh Ballet theatre and received the gold medal for ballet in the Olympic of the Arts.

Among her favorite roles are the Firebird in Firebird, Russian Girl in Serenade, Sugar Plum in The Nutcracker, and roles in original works by various choreographers.

Lauren joined Kentucky Ballet Theatre as an apprentice in 2006. Previously she had appeared as a guest artist with the company for Cinderella and The Nutcracker.
