KBT On TourKentucky Ballet Theatre is proud to bring professional ballet to cities across the Commonwealth. Hazard, Burkesville, Owensboro, and Louisville are a few of the cities that have hosted KBT productions. We’re proud to be one of the select organizations chosen for the Kentucky Arts Council Performing Arts Directory. Only two ballet companies—Kentucky Ballet Theatre and Louisville Ballet Company—met the Council’s standards for Artistic Excellence, Performance Experience, and Marketing Capacity. We encourage local arts councils to inquire about what KBT can offer your community. We can tailor a performance from our repertory, or we can create a package appropriate for a special performance. Interested arts councils should be sure to contact the Kentucky Arts Council about grant support. Because Kentucky Ballet Theatre is listed in the Performing Arts Directory, presenters may apply for up to 50% fee support through the Performing Arts on Tour Grant. |
