Megan Klotter, Trainee

Megan Klotter is from Bowling Green, Kentucky and started dancing at Dance Arts of Bowling Green when she was three years old. She studied dance with the SOKY pre-professional dance program from 2011-2018 under the direction of Ashleigh Keefer. There, she took classes under Ashleigh Keefer, Roberto Sifontes, Clifton Keefer Brown, Eric Rivera, Roshunda Brown, Ginny Cardi, and many others. She has attended the summer intensive program at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts in Chicago and has competed in the Youth American Grand Prix. She has also performed for the Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker in the Chinese variation. Ms. Klotter got the opportunity in 2017 to travel to Cuba for the International Festival of Ballet where she took master classes and workshops at the Escuela Nacional de Ballet. Later, Megan Klotter joined the Young Americans College of Performing Arts. She performed in two national tours with them in the U.S. where she traveled to many cities teaching thousands of children performing arts workshops. While traveling, teaching, and taking classes, she earned her Associates Degree in Performing Arts with a Dance Emphasis. Megan has been dancing with KBT for two seasons now in works including The Nutcracker, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, and many more. She has enjoyed dancing at KBT and is excited to start her third season.
