Yan Elizer Martinez

Starting his early career at the Escuela Nacional de Danza Nellie y Gloria Campobello in Mexico City (2017) and the Academia de Arte, Sonora (2018), he was awarded the bronze medal at the Prix Luisa Díaz as a soloist (2018). He was invited to attend and perform at the International Ballet Seminar and Gala performance in Bari, Italy (2019). Accepted at the Victoria Academy of Ballet in Canada and the Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza de Monterrey (2020), deciding to study his major in dance in Monterrey, México. He represented the ESMDM with other schools such as Quenedit Ballet School, Texas (2022), the Escuela Estatal de Danza, Tabasco (2023), and The Sarasota Cuban Ballet School, Florida (2024) and being a semi-finalist at the Youth Grand Prix México (2023). Also received the opportunity to perform with Ballet de Monterrey, one of the top ballet companies in Mexico, in their 2022 production of “Swan Lake” by Thiago Soares and in the 2024 production of “Romeo and Juliet” by Marcelo Gomes. Yan started as a Trainee with KBT after his appearance in Sleeping Beauty as The Wolf.
