Summer Intensive
June 5-23, 2023
Intermediate-Advanced Intensive is geared toward students ages 12-19. (or for those entering KBT levels Intermediate B-Advanced & Levels 2-4). This program will focus on Improving the overall dance technique using the Cuban Methodology. Students will be exposed to a variety of dance styles.
Chaperoned extracurricular activities in the evenings and on the weekends are planned for students to experience a variety of art and fun physical activities in and around Lexington.
There are one, two, or three-week options available
Pricing:
New Student Registration Fee: $30
Non-KBT Student: 1 week $500, 2 weeks $1000, & 3 weeks $1425
Current KBT Student: 1 week $450, 2 weeks $900, & 3 weeks $1275
Our program will conclude with an exciting showcase performance on June 24, 2023

Junior Intensive
Junior Summer Program is geared toward students ages 8-12. (or for those entering KBT levels Beginning C and up). This is a fun and rigorous program with a wide variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Pre-pointe, Classical Variations to Hip Hop, Acro, and Jazz Funk.
Age-appropriate chaperoned extracurricular activities in the evenings and on the weekends, are planned for students to experience a variety of art and fun physical activities in and around Lexington.
Our program will run from June 26-30, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm and July 10-14, 2023 from 9am to 2pm.

Summer Camps
The KBT Summer Camps are geared for children ages 3-8 (or for those entering KBT Creative Movement through Beginning B levels). In our camps, children learn all about putting on a “show”. From the making of backdrops, props, programs, and more! In addition, we focus on bringing the best dance experience for our young dancers by improving their knowledge in both movement and music. Each camp ends with a performance for families and friends!
Days and Themes:
June 26-30, 2023 (week 1)
AM: The Tales of Beatrix Potter
PM: Peter Pan & the Fairies
July 3-7, 2023 (week 2)
AM: Alice in Wonderland
PM: Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs
Hour Options and Pricing:
AM Camp: 9:00 am-noon ($120)
PM Camp: 1:00 pm-4:00 pm ($120)
(AM & PM camps includes 1 snack break, provided by parents)
Full-day Camp: 9:00 am-4:00 pm ($200)
(includes 1 hour supervised lunch and rest,
parents provide 2 snacks and lunch)
Please send a water bottle daily.
Dress code:
- Girls can wear any leotard, tights, & ballet slippers
- Boys can wear fitted shorts/leggings, a t-shirt, socks & ballet slippers
- Jazz shoes are optional
- KBT will provide t-shirts for children to wear during arts & crafts time
Early & After Care Available:
$10 per hour
- Early care 8-9 am
- After care 4-5 pm
