Alisha Hill, Company

Alisha was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. At a young age she relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where she became the third generation of her family to find her passion for ballet. Alisha began her training at Patzius Performing Arts, a family-owned studio, and later became a member of the affiliated Midwest Ballet Theatre. She attended summer intensives with Cincinnati and Milwaukee Ballet. Alisha placed several times at Youth America Grand Prix and was awarded scholarships from several arts competitions, including the National Society of Arts and Letters classical ballet competition.
 

Alisha joined Kentucky Ballet Theatre as a trainee in 2018 and was promoted to Company Dancer in 2022. Some of her favorite roles include Belle (Beauty and the Beast); Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz); Sugarplum, Snow Queen, and Dewdrop (The Nutcracker); Black Swan Pas de Deux from Swan Lake; Ursula (The Little Mermaid); Le Spectre de la Rose; Experiencia by Andres Arámbula; Carmen; Harlequinade. She has also had the opportunity to work under Aurora Bosch, who is regarded as one of the “four jewels of Cuban ballet”. This is Alisha’s sixth season with Kentucky Ballet Theatre.
