Alisha Hill, Company

Alisha Hill.jpg

Alisha was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. At a young age she relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where she became the third generation of her family to develop a passion for ballet. Alisha spent fifteen years training at Patzius Performing Arts, a family-owned studio. At age twelve she became a member of Midwest Ballet Theatre where she performed lead roles in both classical and contemporary works. In her teen years, Alisha attended summer intensives at both Cincinnati Ballet and Milwaukee Ballet. Alisha placed several times at Youth America Grand Prix and she was awarded scholarships from several arts competitions, including the National Society of Arts and Letters classical ballet competition.

Alisha joined Kentucky Ballet Theatre as a trainee in 2018 and was promoted to Company Dancer in 2022. Some of her favorite roles performed here include Sugarplum, Snow Queen, Dewdrop (The Nutcracker), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Le Spectre de la Rose, and Pas de Trois from Swan Lake. She also enjoyed performing in Carmen, Harlequinade, Classical Symphony, Dracula, Experiencia by Andres Arambula, and many other works. She has also had the opportunity to work under Aurora Bosch, who is regarded as one of the “four jewels of Cuban ballet”. This is Alisha’s fifth season dancing with Kentucky Ballet Theatre.
