Kentucky Ballet Theatre Wants You!

Are you passionate about the arts and looking for a way to contribute to a dynamic Professional Ballet and Dance Academy organization?

KBT is looking for individuals who like to volunteer their time, talent, and financial resources to support a dynamic Professional Ballet Company and Academy by serving as a member of the KBT Board.

KBT has a robust professional company with 12-15 dancers along with an Academy of 50-75 students that offers ballet and dance instruction to individuals ages 5-Adult.

This year for the 2024-25 Season, KBT is performing “Dracula” in October at The Lexington Opera House; "Nutcracker" in December, “Spring Show” in March at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center in Lexington; and concluding the season with “Sleeping Beauty” at the Lexington Opera House.

As a Board Member, you would have many opportunities to donate your time and financial resources to select from throughout the year as follows:

• Opportunities to work on fundraising initiatives.

• Participating in Strategic Plan development.

• Networking with potential corporate partners.

• Assisting with school programs like “A Day of Ballet” at the KBT Studios.

• Working backstage with large productions like “The Nutcracker”.

• Assistance with costume and sewing work.

• Ushering at performances and assisting with studio activities.

• General office assistance
