Simon Hagmann was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. He started musicals when he was 6 years old and then started as a ballet dancer when he was 12. After stopping ballet for 3 years, due to contemporary dance training, he moved to Sarasota, Florida in 2019 to train with the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School, under the direction of Ariel Serrano. He moved back to Geneva in 2021 to train with the Area Jeune Ballet, under the teaching of Yvette Regueiro and Juan Enrique Jimenez Sanchez. He is excited to be part of his second season with Kentucky Ballet Theatre.
