Luis Ramirez

Luis Arturo Ramírez Uribe is a Mexican dancer from Veracruz, currently based in Monterrey, Nuevo León. He is completing his final semester in the Classical Dance program (Special Plan for Men) at the Escuela de Música y Danza de Monterrey. His versatile training has led him to perform in classical, contemporary, neoclassical, jazz, and musical theater productions. Notable appearances include Romeo y Julieta with Ballet de Monterrey, La fille mal Gardée at ESMDM, Voces en Movimiento: Ser Ciudad, Pas de deux of the Snow Scene and soloist in the Arabian Dance from The Nutcracker ESMDM, Proyecto Humanos and INTRO by Juan Ángel Bojórquez, and as guest artist with CALENA BALLET in the Sugar Pas de deux from The Nutcracker. He has also performed in GALA VENTANAS, ROYAL STUDIO DANCE, Sleeping Beauty: The Rose Adagio with Valeria Mariaud and Ana Elisa Mena of the Compañía Nacional de Danza México, Pas de deux La Sylphide, Pas de deux Otoño by Telmo Gomes,
and Majísimo at the Festival de Danza Córdoba Youth Grand Prix México, choreographed by Maestro Roberto Machado. Luis is excited to perform with the Kentucky Ballet Theatre in their production of Sleeping Beauty.
