Lydia Hicks, Trainee

Lydia Hicks was born in Lexington, Kentucky. She began ballet classes at age 4. In 2022 she joined Kentucky Ballet Theatre Academy under Rafaela Risco, where her pre-professional training began. Lydia has enjoyed several opportunities of dancing with Kentucky Ballet Theatre’s corps de ballet under its Artistic Director, Norbe Risco. This year Lydia is graduating from Kentucky Ballet Theatre’s Academy and is excited to be joining KBT’s Professional Company as a student trainee in the fall.
