Ulises Argueta, Trainee

Mr. Argueta, graduated from the Monterrey Higher School of Music and Dance as a performer of the Special Plan for Men. Originally from Acámbaro Guanajuato, he began his dance studies at the Autonomous University of Queretaro in ​​Contemporary Dance, then decided to specialize in the area of ​​Classical Ballet with Cuban technique and traveled to Monterrey. Throughout this period he participated in important galas such as the Monterrey International Ballet Gala, as well as in the staging of the ensemble “Invierno” (choreographer: Telmo Gomes) presented for the 45th Anniversary of the Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza de Monterrey, at the Palace of Fine Arts in CDMX, among others. He has also had important guest roles in various dance schools, such as the role of Alain in “La fille mal gardée” presented by the Monterrey Ballet School. His effort and perseverance have led him to perform on important stages around the world, such as the Lincoln Center in New York, NY, where he participated as a member of the ensembles “Ecos” (choreographer: Juan Angel Bojorques), “Henko” (Choreographer: Diego Landin) and “Vaiven” (Choreographer: Sofia Camacho) during the 25th anniversary of the YAGP, finishing in the top 12 with the piece “Vaiven”. The commitment and discipline that characterizes and keeps him firm in continuing to polish his skills as well as in discovering new forms of movement to bring his dance expression to its maximum potential. This is Mr. Argueta first season with Kentucky Ballet Theatre as a Trainee.
